ARBRE becomes an EBSA member society

During the 15th EBSA Congress (Rome, Italy; June 30-July 4, 2026), ARBRE was welcomed as a full EBSA member, the first that is a transnational biophysical society.

Since its creation in 1984, the European Biophysical Societies’ Association (EBSA) has federated national biophysical societies all over Europe and beyond, with 30 countries currently represented (https://ebsa.org/about-ebsa/member-societies/). However, in July 2025, the EBSA General Assembly decided that ARBRE, which is a pan-European society, was eligible as a full member, opening significant new horizons for our association and offering benefits for ARBRE members (reduced fees for EBSA congresses, bursaries, scholarships, …: see https://ebsa.org/)
