ARBRE co-chairs a session on “Breakthrough methods in biophysics”

In the 2nd European South Atlantic Biophysics Congress (Montpellier, France; 17-19 June 2026), ARBRE co-chairs a session on “Breakthrough Methods in Biophysics” and sponsors the 1st Young ESAB Satellite Meeting.

ARBRE joins forces with the French, Portuguese and Spanish biophysical societies in the organization of the 2nd regional European South Atlantic Biophysics Congress (https://esab2026.cbs.cnrs.fr/). This initiative kicked off in in Donostia/San Sebastian (Spain) in 2024, attracting more than 250 attendees.

ARBRE member Patrick England (Institut Pasteur, Paris France) will co-chair a scientific session on “Breakthrough methods in biophysics”, together with Michael Krieg (ICFO, Castelldefels, Spain).

 The session includes talks by two invited speakers: Nunilo Cremades (Zaragoza, Spain) and Pierre-Emmanuel Milhiet (Montpellier, France).

ARBRE will also run a stand showcasing the association and its activities.

In addition, ARBRE is proud to sponsor the 1st Young ESAB Satellite Meeting that will take place on June 16, showcasing projects and achievements of the new generation of French, Portuguese and Spanish biophysicists (https://esab2026.cbs.cnrs.fr/young-esab-satellite-meeting/)
