EBSA and ARBRE partnerships

ARBRE is a full-member society of the European Biophysical Societies’ Association (EBSA) since July 2025.

EBSA federates the biophysical societies across Europe, ARBRE being its first trans-national member.
It coordinates and supports collaboration in biophysics by promoting scientific exchange, education, and training.
Every two years EBSA organizes the European Biophysics Congress.
The next Congress will be held in September 2027 in Berlin, Germany.
All ARBRE members can benefit from the sponsorships EBSA provides to organisers of meetings and schools that promote biophysics in Europe. Support can come in the form of grants to the organisers or bursaries to participants. EBSA also offers bursaries to individual young scientists to participate in the Biophysics Congress. Furthermore, new initiatives have been generated, such as support for working visits or bursaries to attend scientific meetings.
